In this process unique to Universal Vintage Tire, a Razor-sharp blade cuts precise slits into the tread surface without removing any rubber. For those ribbed tread patterns already famous for positive steering characteristices and a smooth, quiet ride, these small slits improve the braking efficiency and provide better "wet road" handling.
